From reading the competition program and analyzing the existing context, three fundamental themes emerge: the new building, the square, the park. Taken as constitutive elements of the project, the intention is to give this part of the neighborhood a precise and recognizable identity as a place of public and collective life through their composition. Two different construction systems correspond to the basement and the overlying structure of the residences: the basement floors and the two levels above ground cast in reinforced concrete, the overlying portion of the building that contains the accommodations, built in wooden supporting walls arranged parallel and with a structural step of 3.25 ml. Inside each room, a system of ribbon windows empties the wall at the level of the horizon, framing the landscape in all its extension from the Catenaccio - Schiliar in the west to the Mendola mountain range in the east. reaches through the close relationship between inside and outside, it is also reflected in the configuration of the facade where large loggias, developing along the entire main front, extend the interior space of the apartment to the outside becoming, thanks to the generous dimensions, real 'rooms 'open to the landscape.
